On Thursday at the Green Week Raimund Hosch, CEO Messe Berlin and representatives from all the federal States congratulated Mandy Scholz from Königshorst in Brandenburg on being the 30 millionth visitor since the show first took place 84 years ago. Aged 25, she works as a coordinator at a vocational training school in Potsdam, and together with her partner was visiting the fair for the first time. She received a ticket for lifelong admission to the Green Week, a voucher for a short holiday in Lower Saxony, and specialities from all the German federal States. To honour the occasion the Berlin Bakers’ Guild had baked a cake weighing 40 kilos.
