Press Service for Green Week 2023: Online accreditation now possible

Media representatives can now accredit online for the International Green Week (IGW). IGW will take place from January 20 to 29 in Berlin. On-site accreditation is not possible.

Numerous media representatives from Germany and abroad are expected to attend the International Green Week Berlin 2023 from January 20 to 29. Messe Berlin is providing a comprehensive service for reporting - starting with online accreditation and extensive press material through to a press center equipped to a high technical standard with WLAN workstations for journalists.

Online accreditation

You can already register for accreditation online here.

After successful registration and verification of your data, you will receive a pdf with your press card by e-mail. You can print this out yourself. Accreditation is only possible online. There will be no on-site accreditation.

Press badges for Green Week 2022 are valid from January 18 to 29, 2023. The press badges issued are not transferable and are only valid in conjunction with an ID card. They entitle the holder to free access throughout the trade fair. Many exhibitors additionally serve trade visitors and media representatives in special areas, for which separate registration with the respective exhibitor may be necessary.

Press Center in Hall 6.3

The Green Week Press Center is located in Hall 6.3, and will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Jan. 18-29, 2023.

Here you will find, among others:

- the Messe Berlin press team

- more than 100 journalists' workstations

- free WLAN and workstations with LAN connections

- press conference rooms

- a lounge area with adjoining press bar

- a checkroom

You can use WLAN in the press center.

Press parking:

A limited number of parking spaces are available on the grounds for accredited media. Parking permits for accredited media representatives can be requested from Messe Berlin at igw-presse@messe-berlin.de. During the trade fair, parking permits are only available in the Press Center Hall 6.3.

About the International Green Week

The International Green WeekBerlin is one of the most traditional trade fairs nationwide and one of the best-known events in Germany. Founded in 1926 in the Berlin of the Golden Twenties, it is unique as the leading international trade fair for food, agriculture and horticulture. Exhibitors from all over the world present an extensive range of products on ten event days. In addition, the IGW gives current social issues such as climate protection, circular economy, resource conservation and sustainable land use a stage.
