Three times "all new" at the International Green Week

The countdown is on: The International Green Week 2023 opens in 127 days today, and planning has already begun to make the ten-day event from 20 to 29 January 2023 a unique experience for all visitors. "At last the world is once again a guest in Berlin, at last networking, at last exchange, at last the International Green Week," says IGW project manager Lars Jaeger, summing up the team's anticipation. In the process, Messe Berlin has used the corona-induced break to launch a number of innovations for 2023:

#1: New animal hall ensures more animal welfare.

More space as well as more retreat possibilities for the animals and a better view from the restaurant area into the demonstration ring - the animal hall 25 will be completely revised and redesigned for the International Green Week 2023. The focus is deliberately on animal welfare: the barn areas are arranged and planned in such a way that the animals can withdraw completely if necessary.

#2: New segment grünerleben focuses on sustainability

Green themes have a long tradition at the International Green Week. Sustainability is more than a short-lived trend, but will permanently shape current social discourses in the coming years. The Green Week offers a thematic framework for the major issues surrounding sustainability in the new theme world grünerleben.

#3: New website provides better orientation

As diverse as the trade fair is, as numerous the contents are - the different user groups were strongly in focus during the revision of the website. The new site has been up and running since June. In addition to a new, contemporary design, the main focus was on intelligent user guidance geared to target groups: while exhibitors will continue to find all the relevant information on stand registration & Co. in their own Exhibit section, the "Visit" section brings together all the important topics for private visitors. A new addition is the "Events" section, which provides orientation for trade visitors in particular and shows the wide range of events taking place at the IGW.
