New hall layout at the Green Week

New Hall 27 presents one hectare of ‘Keen on the Country’ – Hall 10.2 devoted entirely to the partner country Croatia

For the 85th time the International Green Week Berlin awaits visitors to the display halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. From 17 to 26 January the world's largest trade fair for agriculture, the food industry and horticulture is presenting a global overview of foods and specialities as well as a comprehensive display of farming and horticultural products. Under the heading ’The Culture of Agriculture’, this year’s partner country Croatia is taking up Hall 10.2 with its displays of culinary highlights and cultural traditions.

For the first time hub27, now the largest hall on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, is available to the Green Week. Covering almost 10,000 square metres, it features a hectare of ’Keen on the country’. Six sections under the headings ‘Rural development’, ‘Multitalented wood’, ‘Renewable raw materials’, ‘Woods, Wildlife, Hunting and Nature’, the ‘Biobased economy’ and ‘Eco-farming’ provide a concentrated display of agricultural innovation. With its covered passageways to Halls 1 and 25, the new building completes the circuit of halls on the exhibition grounds. It provides temporary space following closures of the circuit due to refurbishment work, resulting in an improved hall layout due to the relocation of individual display areas.

Exhibitors from Africa now occupy Hall 1.2b. Russia is represented in Hall 2.2. The Alpine Republics are grouped in Hall 4.2. Hall 6.2 is where Asian exhibitors can be found, among others. Hall 8.2 features the Nordic countries, Scandinavia and the Baltic states. Hall 10.2 is devoted entirely to this year’s partner Croatia.
