16. Global Forum für Food and Agriculture (GFFA)
17. - 20. January, CityCube Berlin
"Food systems of the future: Together for a world without hunger" is the motto of the 16th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture. Around 2,000 international guests from politics, business, science and civil society will come together at the GFFA to exchange ideas and develop joint solutions for a world without hunger. The political highlight of the GFFA will be the Berlin Agriculture Ministers' Conference, to which Cem Özdemir, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture, has invited more than 70 agriculture ministers from all over the world.

Grüne Woche Business Days
19., 23., 24. January, Kleiner Stern (between Halls 11.2 and 18)
Together with the Enterprise Europe Network, the "Grüne Woche Business Days" are being organized as part of Grüne Woche. Trade visitors will meet national and international experts from trade, industry, research, politics and interest groups. They can discuss and network with them about current developments, innovative solutions and products as well as upcoming projects.
Additional Online-Meetings will be offered on January 15 + 16 and 29 + 30.

Startup-Days
23. - 24. January, Grüne Woche Stage, Hall 6.2a
Grüne Woche is organizing the Startup Days for the sixth time. Startups from the agtech and food sectors will pitch on the Grüne Woche stage. A panel of experts from politics, business, research and associations will evaluate the presentations and award the winning company. The pitches will be framed by specialist presentations and discussion panels on topics such as "greener networks", "new wind in agriculture through agtech startups" and "greener action".

Regional-Star Award
23. January, Stage Bayernhalle, Hall 22b
Every year, the Grüne Woche honors sustainable regional concepts in the food trade with the Regional Star Award. The prize is awarded jointly with the trade journal Lebensmittel Praxis. Companies from trade, agriculture and industry, as well as marketing organizations and service providers, can apply for the Regional-Star Award, which is presented in the categories of product innovation, trade cooperation, processing and marketing. Future Forum for Rural Development
24. - 25. January, CityCube Berlin
The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture invites you to the "Future Forum for Rural Development" on 24 and 25 January at the CityCube Berlin on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. More than 30 panels and expert rounds will focus on topics such as good reasons for living in rural areas, the development of structurally weak regions and international best practice examples. Individual panels will be organised in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.

Fuels of the future - 21st International Congress for Renewable Mobility
22. - 23. January, CityCube Berlin
"How are climate protection and transport compatible?" "Where does the energy transition in transport stand?" or "How should the EU guidelines be implemented in transport?" These and many other questions will be discussed at the specialist congress for renewable mobility as part of Grüne Woche. More than 60 speakers from politics, research, associations and industry will be on stage.

Organic Farming Day
25. January, Hall 27, Beta 8 & 9
The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) is honouring the winners of the Federal Organic Farming Competition 2024 during Grüne Woche. Farms, producer groups or cooperatives that have proven themselves in practice with innovative concepts in the areas of animal husbandry, nature and resource conservation or energy management were able to apply for the national competition in early summer. They can look forward to prize money of up to 12,500 euros.
