It's that time of the year again: Grüne Woche starts! 1,400 exhibitors from Germany, Europe and the rest of the world present regional products, culinary delicacies, plants and animals and inform visitors about the core themes of Grüne Woche: food, agriculture and horticulture.

Project Manager Lars Jaeger welcomes all guests and is looking forward to the upcoming 10 days of Grüne Woche and summarizes the upcoming highlights for you in a short video.

A demonstration with agricultural vehicles around the exhibition grounds has been registered for today between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. We recommend that you travel to the exhibition grounds by S-Bahn and U-Bahn, as there may be traffic disruptions around the exhibition grounds.

Grüne Woche 2024 has begun in Berlin under the impression of the farmers' protests in Germany in recent weeks. Federal Minister of Agriculture Cem Özdemir opened the world's largest industry trade fair at the official opening ceremony in the City Cube on Thursday evening. He called on agricultural associations and the food industry to enter into discussions with politicians in order to solve the sector's problems together and negotiate the various interests with one another.
