17. Global Forum für Food and Agriculture (GFFA)
15. - 18. January, CityCube Berlin
The motto of the GFFA 2025 is “Farming a Sustainable Bioeconomy”. The bioeconomy uses raw materials from agriculture and forestry, aquaculture, organic raw materials, insects and microorganisms to become less dependent on fossil raw materials. The aim of the GFFA is to work together to find ways to strengthen food security, combat the worsening climate crisis, promote innovation and create a fair framework for a sustainable bioeconomy.

Startup-Days
21. - 22. January, Grüne Woche Stage - Home Green Home, hall 27
Young and dynamic startups from the agtech and food industry present their innovative solutions and products at the Startup-Days.

Almost 30 startups have applied for the Startup-Days 2025, and a jury of experts has selected the 10 most exciting and innovative solutions that will pitch at Grüne Woche. The Startup-Days program will be rounded off with sessions on financing, leadership, recycling and the use of AI in startups.

Grüne Woche Business Days
22. January, Grüne Woche Stage - Home Green Home, hall 27
Grüne Woche Business Days is the meeting place for the agricultural and food industry. Both digitally (January 14, 15, 29 and 30, 2025) and live on site at the Grüne Woche (January 22nd), interested parties and experts can exchange ideas and network. Grüne Woche Business Days are organized with the Enterprise Europe Network Berlin-Brandenburg. Around 100 participants from over 30 countries have already registered.

Regional-Star Award
21. January, Brandenburg Stage, hall 21a
Sustainable regional concepts are the focus of the Regional Star Award, which is presented annually as part of Grüne Woche.
The award recognizes regional concepts from the food trade that are not only new and innovative

but also leave a positive ecological footprint and offer added value - for customers and the environment.

Future Forum for Rural Development
22. - 23. January, CityCube Berlin
The Future Forum, which the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture is organizing as part of Grüne Woche, will focus on the general topic of “Participation, democracy and cohesion in rural regions” in 2025. In 30 specialist forums, topics such as the participation of children and young people in rural areas, the diverse influence of the church and diversity in rural eastern Germany will be discussed. The “BULEplus” funding program for strengthening rural areas will also be discussed as part of the Future Forum.

Fuels of the future - 22nd International Congress for Renewable Mobility
21. - 22. January, CityCube Berlin
More than 600 international experts from industry, science, research and politics will come together at the “Fuels of the Future” conference, which this year is being held under the motto “Fueling up for climate protection, sustainable on the road”.
In almost 20 sessions, experts will talk about topics such as quality control and certification, but will also shed light on the entire transport sector, from green waterways, climate-friendly road transport and renewable fuels in aviation to green power in the field - biofuels in agriculture and forestry.

German Farmers' Association forums
20. January, Studio hall 5.3
Experts from the agricultural sector will talk about the future of the dairy industry, the next chapter of the energy transition, nature restoration and the model of nature conservation cooperatives in the German Farmers' Association's expert forums. Interested parties can follow the expert forums via livestream. Due to limited seating capacity, prior registration on the German Farmers' Association website is required for on-site participation.
