Waiting is over - Grüne Woche 2025 starts today. 1,500 exhibitors from Germany, Europe and around the world present culinary delights, tourist highlights, offer floral and animal experiences and invite visitors to exchange ideas about food, agriculture and horticulture.

German Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir and his EU counterpart Christophe Hansen spoke at the opening of the 89th Grüne Woche in favour of tackling challenges together.

The new EU Commissioner for Agriculture, Christophe Hansen, has clear ideas on how Europe can make its agriculture weatherproof. He formulated his demands at Grüne Woche: fair prices, less bureaucracy and more planning security for farmers are the key cornerstones. Hansen wants to strengthen agriculture as an important economic sector and better protect it from geopolitical risks. The aim is to reach a consensus between all parties involved and to modernize the common agricultural policy.

In 2025, the Grüne Woche will continue to impress visitors with its green diversity. This year's garden tour shows how urban flair and nature blend harmoniously - from the ‘Berlin flower neighbourhood’ to practical inspiration for the home and garden. Thousands of early bloomers, shrubs and plants transform the exhibition hall into a colourful urban landscape. Read more
