Grüne Woche 2025 has opened its doors! Since yesterday, visitors have been coming to the exhibition halls to experience a culinary journey around the world. From sea crispbread from Sweden to genuine Thuringian bratwurst - the 1,500 exhibitors from around 60 countries offer something for every taste. But the trade fair is more than just a gourmet paradise: Animal encounters await in halls 25 and 26, while the Flower Hall anticipates spring.

This year's event is all about sustainability and climate protection. In an interview, Federal Minister of Agriculture Cem Özdemir talks about the current challenges facing agriculture.

Grüne Woche 2025 offers a diverse world of coffee experiences. From classic varieties to innovative creations such as coffee lemonade and espresso martini, there is something for every taste. Visitors can sample international specialties such as Kenyan, Irish and Colombian coffee. Sustainable and fair trade options will also be presented. In addition to coffee, there will be matching accompaniments such as cakes, roasted almonds and Baumkuchen. The coffee tour provides trade fair visitors with a good overview.

Grüne Woche 2025 presents Nordic exhibitors with unique products and cultural heritage. Finnish farmers bring black oat flakes, a nutrient-rich ancient grain. A Swedish entrepreneur presents quince spritzer and recommends quinces as a regional lemon substitute. The Sámi, an indigenous people from Scandinavia, showcase their diverse culture in a traditional Lavvu tent. They present different dialects, customs and habitats of their community.

Brandenburg ice cream manufacturers offer innovative ice cream varieties for different dietary requirements. California Pops, founded by Jörg Ellmer, produces nine varieties of style ice cream, mostly gluten-free and partly vegan, without additives. Honest Ice Cream and Sweets by Loreen Herrmann uses Jersey cow's milk, which is often tolerated by allergy sufferers.

On Monday, January 20, 2025, Minister President Dietmar Woidke will open Brandenburg Day at Grüne Woche with the State Police Orchestra. Guests can expect a varied program with regional specialties.
