More than just sausage and wine

The south and west of Germany offer genuine culinary treasures, accompanied by brass band music and DJ sounds.

The diversity of southwestern German exhibitors ranges from the Alps to the wine regions of Hesse and Baden-Württemberg to the carnival revelers of the Rhineland. At their stands, visitors can sample delicious beers and fine wines, as well as classics such as spaetzle, sausage, and kale. They also enrich Grüne Woche with their product royalty and plenty of good cheer.

Baden-Württemberg: Indulgence meets nature

Under the motto “Indulgence is a matter of attitude,” guests in Hall 5.2a can discover the culinary highlights and unique nature of Baden-Württemberg. They can treat themselves to dairy products and sausage specialties directly from the food truck. These are complemented by exquisite wines from the Baden and Württemberg wine-growing regions and specialty beers. Other culinary highlights include various fruits and vegetables from Lake Constance. Of course, classics such as cheese spaetzle and Maultaschen with potato salad are also a must. Lentils with spaetzle and delicious Krautschupfnudeln are also freshly prepared in our own catering area. DJ Cat and brass bands from Baden-Württemberg provide a great atmosphere every day. This allows visitors to experience the gourmet and vacation destination with all their senses.

Experience Bavaria – right in the heart of Berlin!

Germany's largest federal state welcomes its guests to Bayernhalle 22b. The local specialties appeal to connoisseurs: tender straw-fed pork, hearty Allgäu cheese, fine Franconian wine, tasty beers, and many other Bavarian delicacies await you. The cozy beer garden of the traditional Entenwirt restaurant promises Bavarian joie de vivre. Authentic Bavarian hospitality can be felt with traditional brass band music and performances by people in traditional costumes. Exciting information and fine products are available in a special area dedicated to orchards. Bavarian gourmet destinations showcase their specialties under the banner “Genuss Bayern” (Bavarian Delights), while guests can learn all about the most beautiful travel destinations in the Free State in the “Servus Urlaub” (Hello Vacation) area. Visitors can experience Bavaria on over 2,000 square meters – as authentically and warmly as in Bavaria itself.

Hesse: Äppelwoi and green sauce

Hesse Hall 6.2a demonstrates how well tradition and innovation go together. In addition to classics such as Äppelwoi, Ahler Worscht, and green sauce, there are delicious Hesse bowls with falafel and sweet potato and ginger hummus – all made from Hesse ingredients. Hesse wines, spirits, beer, ice cream, and much more invite you to linger in the Hesse-Gadde.

Cooking shows, interviews, and activities ensure a varied trade fair experience for young and old alike. Every day from 4 p.m., visitors can round off the trade fair day with DJ music.

Rhineland-Palatinate: The best from the winemaker

In its wine lounge in Hall 6.2a, Rhineland-Palatinate presents itself as a “paradise for wine lovers” with excellent wines and sparkling wines – including non-alcoholic varieties – from its six wine-growing regions of Rheinhessen, Palatinate, Moselle, Nahe, Ahr, and Middle Rhine.

The Rhineland-Palatinate wine royalty invite visitors to wine tastings every day. Visitors can win weekend stays in one of the wine-growing regions, among other prizes, in an exciting gold quiz. But the federal state has much more to offer: exciting excursion destinations as well as wellness and activity offers make it a worthwhile destination for culture fans and nature enthusiasts.

North Rhine-Westphalia: Cream, mustard, and organic oils

Who can beat Kuh Lotte at whipping cream, and how does mustard from the Lower Rhine taste? Participation and tasting are the focus in the NRW Hall 5.2a at Grüne Woche 2026. There are organic oils from the Münsterlandmühle and fine spirits from the Sasse distillery, a variety of hazelnut specialties, Aachen Karlswurst sausage, and organic cheese. Daily cooking shows provide variety, Kölsch beer and the “Rote Funken” carnival dancers create a lively atmosphere – and then the Pickert Princess will be crowned. One of the highlights is the Cologne Evening on Monday, January 19, 2026, with Funkemariechen dancers, Kölsch beer, and a brass band.
