Dear Sir or Madam,
At the International Green Week, we regularly present new trends from the fields of nutrition, agriculture and horticulture. Aspects around the topic of sustainability have become increasingly important in recent years. It's safe to say: Sustainability is more than a trend, but will strongly shape our world in the coming years. That's why sustainability is getting its own theme world Green up your life. Today we intrduce to you three exhibiting companies and what they are planning for visitors at the Green Week.

Experience 'Nature-based' solutions
Nature-based solutions are the main focus of the Federal Environment and Consumer Protection Ministry’s stand. This focus ties in well with the new theme of the hall, which aims to provide consumers with information and ideas about where and how to green up their lives.
We want to raise visitors’ awareness of the links between climate change and biodiversity loss and the fact that these crises can only be resolved together. Intact ecosystems naturally mitigate climate change and provide key habitats for plants and animals. However, the focus is not solely on what the Federal Environment Ministry is doing for the long-term protection and preservation of these ecosystems in its Action Plan on Nature-based Solutions for Climate and Biodiversity. The stand also addresses how every individual can conserve natural resources in their own daily life.
In addition to a stage programme with informational and participatory events, visitors can explore theme islands on wilderness and forests, soils and peatlands, rivers and lakes, seas and urban green. Each of these ecosystem exhibits interactively presents entertaining knowledge on nature-based solutions and tips for everyday life.

Reuse - more than just a trend
On average, 244 functional but no longer used items lie dormant in every Berlin household. This means there is great potential for a vibrant second-hand market in the capital. This is an important goal of Berlin's Re-Use Initiative, which was initiated by the Senate Department for the Environment, Urban Mobility, Consumer Protection and Climate Action.
Berlin's goal is to become a zero-waste city by 2030. In order to achieve this ambitious goal, the Senate Department has established an innovative, exemplary waste management concept. At the heart of the concept is the Re-Use Superstore, which will be presented at the IGW in our new themed world.
At the stand in hall 27, the Re-Use team will show how creative and versatile used goods can be. Hands-on and participation are very important here. In the Repair Café, visitors can have their broken toasters or vacuum cleaners repaired and thus given a new lease of life. They can also hand in old frames for further use at the eyeglass collection box. Through these and other diverse participatory activities, it will be vividly demonstrated how creative our city is and how much fun Zero Waste can be!
The Re-Use Partner Projecttogether will provide expert contributions on site. A detailed program will be published at a later date.

Launching into the future with reusables
FairCup wants to counteract the disposable trend that still prevails in many places with its reusable system. A particularly large amount of waste can be saved in the to-go and take-away sector, for example by selling coffee, ice cream, snacks, lunches or fresh produce in reusable containers.
FairCup is characterized by a broad product portfolio. Available products include cups, trays and meal trays. All products can be easily returned to FairCup's reverse vending machine.
All FairCup products are Blue Angel certified and made of 100% polpropylene. In order to achieve the best possible recycling effect here as well, all reusable products are not printed and achieve a very long service life with at least 500 - 1,000 rinsing cycles.
There are now over 3,500 acceptance points throughout Germany.
